Origin: Galicia – Pan do Mar –
Skipjack tuna loins, sourced from controlled and sustainable fishing practices by small-scale coastal fishermen in the Mid-Eastern Atlantic. Caught one by one using rod and line and packed in extra virgin olive oil from certified Spanish organic farming.
Line fishing, a method recommended by various conservation organisations, prevents discards of unwanted sizes and of non-commercial or protected species, thereby ensuring the natural stocks necessary for the survival of future generations of the species. The absence of nets guarantees the quality and freshness of the fish used in this product.
This fishing is carried out in accordance with European Union fisheries regulations, is monitored by ICCAT (International Commission for the Conservation of Atlantic Tunas) and supervised by the Earth Island Institute (Dolphin Safe).
Organic ingredients certified by BCS Öko-Garantie. Spanish Organic Production Control Authority: ES-GA-ES/CRAEGA, Galician Regulatory Council for Organic Production. Produced in accordance with EU Regulation 834/2007, Article 23, on organic production.
Net weight: 120g. Drained weight: 90g. Ingredients: Light tuna (75%), extra virgin olive oil (24%)*, sea salt. (*: from organic farming). Gluten-free product.
