Origin: Galicia – ‘Pan do mar’
– Mackerel fillets, ‘skinless and boneless, sourced from controlled and sustainable fishing by small-scale coastal fishermen in the Cantabrian Sea’. Caught using line fishing and packed in extra virgin olive oil from the first cold pressing, with all ingredients sourced from certified Spanish organic farming.
Line fishing, a method recommended by conservation organisations, prevents discards of unwanted sizes and of non-commercial or protected species, ensuring the natural stocks necessary for the survival of future generations of the species. The fact that no nets are used is a guarantee of the quality of the fish packed in this product.
This fishing is carried out in accordance with European Union fisheries regulations. Organic ingredients certified by BCS Öko-Garantie. Spanish Authority for the Control of Organic Production: ES-GA-ES/CRAEGA, Regulatory Council for Organic Production in Galicia. Produced in accordance with EU Regulation 834/2007, Article 23, on organic production.
