Description
Origin: Galicia – ‘Pan do mar’ –
Sardines (Sardina pilchardus w.), skinned and boned, sourced from controlled and sustainable fishing practices, caught using purse seines by small-scale coastal fishermen along the north-western Atlantic coast.
Cleaned and packed by hand in extra virgin olive oil from the first cold pressing, sourced from certified organic farming.
This fishery operates in accordance with European Union fisheries regulations, is monitored by ICCAT (International Commission for the Conservation of Atlantic Tunas) and supervised by the Earth Island Institute (Dolphin Safe).
Organic ingredients certified by BCS Öko-Garantie. Spanish organic production control authority: ES-GA-ES/CRAEGA, Galician Regulatory Council for Organic Production. Produced in accordance with EU Regulation 834/2007, Article 23, on organic production.
